Laser Vision Centre's Precautionary Measures
-
At any given time, only 6 patients will be allowed on the premises.

-
Our staff is limited and everyone is wearing PPE kits for their own and the patient's protection.

-
All surfaces in our office including counter-tops, tables and doorknobs are cleaned after EVERY use.

-
It is mandatory for each patient and their attendant to bring their own face-masks and to wear these throughout their visit to Laser Vision Centre.

-
It is mandatory for each patient and their attendant to disinfect their hands using the hand-sanitizer provided at the entrance before they enter the premises.

-
The entire staff of Laser Vision Centre has been educated in detail about COVID-19 and the precautions they should take to protect themselves and those around them.

-
To reduce face-to-face contact, the Laser Vision Centre staff has been instructed to rely on intercom to communicate within the office and to meet face-to-face only when necessary.

-
Each staff member has been provided 2 face-masks: one to wear within the office and one to wear outside the office.

-
To ensure maximum protection, the staff is instructed to select and separate 2 or 3 pairs of clothes and shoes which they will wear to Laser Vision Centre on different days. These 2 or 3 pairs of clothes and shoes should be kept separate from other clothes and should be disinfected/washed regularly when staff reaches home.

-
Both the staff members and incoming patients are strongly urged to immediately report if they notice any symptoms of Coronavirus. This is for the health and safety of the community.

-
All staff members have been instructed to eat their lunch separately and the kitchen/eating area has been closed for the time being.

-
Reading material including newspapers and magazines have been temporarily removed from the waiting area to reduce common use items.
Coronavirus is affecting all of us in unprecedented ways.
The virus spreads rapidly. The current treatment for coronavirus is to provide supportive care in the intensive care unit environment.
However, a sudden surge in Coronavirus cases means that people will die because there won’t be enough hospital beds or ventilators to keep them alive.

Therefore, our best course of action is to Flatten the Curve to avoid reaching the maximum health care capacity.

Please read more on this here
